YKAAは、山崎貴生とMaryana Kovalchukの2人の建築家によるユニットです。
我々は、新築や改修を問わず、住宅や店舗、マンションや別荘、コンドミニアムやホテル等の幅広い種別・規模のプロジェクトの設計・管理業務を行います。プロジェクトの過程では、クライアントとの対話を重視しながら様々な可能性を模索します。建物のイメージを共有する上で、模型やパースを用いたり、実際の素材のサンプルを見たりして具体的な空間のイメージを作り上げていきます。異なる背景を持つ2人の建築家が、既存の考え方や在り方に捉われず、新たな価値を創出していきます。
YKAA is an art and architectural atelier founded in 2022 by Atsuki Yamazaki and Maryana Kovalchuk. We design and manage projects of a wide variety ranging from private houses, shops and hotels to public facilities and renovation. During the process, we explore various possibilities, while emphasizing dialogue with the client. In order to communicate and convey our vision, we create a concrete image of the space by using 3D rendering, physical models, drawings and samples of actual materials. With experience in both Japanese and international environments, we strive to create a unique value in architecture beyond existing ideas and conventions.

Atsuki Yamazaki
1989年北海道生まれ。北海道札幌西高等学校卒、北海学園大学工学部建築学科、
北海学園大学工学研究課建設工学専攻 修士課程を2016年に終了。
(株)中山眞琴アーキテクツに入社。中山眞琴アーキテクツで修行中は一般住宅から別荘、
ニセコを中心とする大型ホテルやコンドミニアム等様々なプロジェクトを担当する。
2022年〜一級建築士事務所YKAAを設立。

Architect ・Creative Director
Born in Hokkaido in 1989. In 2016, graduated from Sapporo Nishi High School in Hokkaido, completed master’s degree in architecture from Hokkai Gakuen University's Faculty of Engineering, and majored in construction engineering at Hokkai Gakuen University's Engineering Research Division. Later joined Nakayama Makoto Architects. While training at Nakayama Makoto Architects Co., Ltd., he designed and supervised various projects such as residential houses, villas, large hotels and condominiums mainly in Niseko and Sapporo. In 2022 Atsuki aacquired 1st-Class architect registration and established YKAA.

マリアナ・コワリュチュク
Maryana Kovalchuk
1990年ウクライナ生まれ、ポルトガル育ち。
FAUPポルト大学建築学部 修士課程 を2015年に終了。
2016年に北京の Chiasmus Partners での建築インターン (6 か月)、(株)中山眞琴アーキテクツに入社。
2019年に㈱アカサカシンイチロウアトリエにに入社。
建築の詳細へのこだわりを中心に札幌、富良野、石狩、豊浦、ニセコの住宅やホテルでの設計。
2022年〜一級建築士事務所YKAAを設立。

Graduated from FAUP University of Porto, Faculty of Architecture, with master’s degree in architecture, Year 2015. In 2016, interned at Chiasmus Partners in Beijing (6 months) and later joined Nakayama Makoto Architects in Sapporo, Japan. In 2019 joined Akasaka Atelier Co., Ltd. in 2019. With keen attention to architectural detail, Maryana has been designing residential houses and hotels in Sapporo, Furano, Ishikari, Toyoura and Niseko. In 2022 she founded YKAA.
